The band and 12 months of connected access. The band is yours to keep, and this purchase does not renew automatically.
WHOOP vs Oura at Australian prices, with the Thrive Health Band beside both. 12-month and 24-month totals include WHOOP's published annual price and Oura Membership.
These are different products. WHOOP sells a 12-month membership that includes a device. Oura sells a ring, and Oura says membership is required for the daily insights. Thrive sells a screenless band with 12 months of the plan included, and you keep the band.
The table is price. The use notes cover sleep, recovery, midlife health and habit insight. Competitor sentences are what those brands' pages said. They are not treated as fact.

WHOOP's Australian membership price already includes a device for the published year. On 13 Oct 2026, JB Hi-Fi's price for the first 12 months was A$299 for One, including a WHOOP 5.0, A$399 for Peak, including a WHOOP 5.0, and A$599 for Life, including a WHOOP MG. JB Hi-Fi's terms say they auto-renew at A$419 and A$629. One's renewal price is also A$299. The 24-month figures assume one renewal at those prices, so One is A$598, Peak is A$818 and Life is A$1,228. The longer note is on Thrive vs WHOOP.
Oura Ring 5 Silver, size 6, was A$649 and available for delivery. Gold, size 6, was A$799 and available for delivery and click and collect. Oura's membership page lists A$9.99 a month or A$109.99 a year after tax for Australian members. JB Hi-Fi says the first month is included for new members and that a subscription is required. The table adds the annual membership and does not subtract the included month. Silver for 12 months is A$758.99. Gold for 12 months is A$908.99. The 24-month Oura total assumes membership paid each year at today's price, so those figures are A$868.98 and A$1,018.98.
Thrive's 12-month total is A$660 upfront for the band and 12 months of the plan. The band is never sold on its own. You keep it. That purchase does not renew automatically.
For 24 months with Thrive, keep the band and add the next year of the plan. A$240 for the year (A$20 a month) makes A$900. Or pay A$29 a month with no lock-in. Twelve months at that rate is A$348, so the 24-month total is A$1,008. The monthly plan bills each month until you cancel.
There is also Thrive Complete at A$800 upfront for the band and 24 months of connected access. That is a separate checkout option, not the A$660 price plus a renewal.
Thrive prices include GST. Free Australia-wide shipping (usually A$14.99) under the current launch offer.
WHOOP vs Oura is often a sleep and recovery question. Thrive is in the same table because the jobs are not only a score on a wrist or a finger. Pairwise detail stays on Thrive vs WHOOP and Thrive vs Oura.
| Use | Thrive | WHOOP says | Oura says |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sleep | Screenless band. Sleep and stages in the Thrive by Optihealth app. Up to 14 days between charges. | WHOOP's Australian membership page lists sleep scores on One, Peak and Life. It did not list a wrist display in the comparison we checked. | JB Hi-Fi lists Touchscreen as false for Ring 5, and says battery life is up to one week. Oura says the ring shows a sleep score, sleep stages, naps and sleep debt. |
| Recovery | An estimated time to get back to baseline, next to sleep and activity, compared with your own usual. | WHOOP lists recovery and strain scores on One, Peak and Life. Peak adds names such as a health monitor and a stress monitor. This page does not repeat WHOOP's statements about results. | Oura says the ring looks at activity and recovery together, and names daytime stress and stress resilience. |
| Midlife health | Blood tests, medical history, medications and supplements, and meals through Food Fit. Blood-pressure estimates about every 10 minutes, with calibration and a recommended recalibration every 21 days. Not a diagnosis. | WHOOP says Life lists Daily Blood Pressure Insights, and women's hormonal insights on the tiers above. One and Peak did not list blood-pressure insights on the page we checked. | Oura says Ring 5 includes cycle insights, pregnancy insights and menopause insights. This page does not treat that as a clinical result. |
| Habit insight | Ask Thrive, using your readings plus meals and the context you record. Thrive does not sync to Apple Health. | The membership page lists scores and sensors. It did not, in the check behind Thrive vs WHOOP, describe a place for blood tests or a medication list. | Oura says Oura Advisor is part of membership, and that the ring and membership go hand in hand. Thrive does not sync to Apple Health. |
Thrive is IP68, and also rated 5 ATM. You keep the band. WHOOP retailer terms say the membership auto-renews at the current annual price unless cancelled. Oura's published Australian membership is A$109.99 a year or A$9.99 a month after tax.

Thrive supports general health and wellbeing. Blood-pressure outputs are estimates and trends, not a diagnosis. They are taken about every 10 minutes while you wear the band, they need calibration before they begin, and recalibration is recommended every 21 days.
